Yesterday was my second to last (and maybe final) required event with school – the portfolio show.

The event was held at the Ramada Inn on Market from 4-8pm yesterday and if you missed it – shame on you! as some talented folk were are graduating this quarter and in search of jobs. That aside interest was kind of slow at my booth – outside of the larger houses. I was expecting that though so to meet some people from ILM and Pixar, interested in my work was the great and rewarding feat for the night.

I didn’t celebrate much afterwards just some icecream and carmel. As there is much to be done.

Oh yeah. And Tandem Tantrum is DONE! I’ll try and have it up soon (this weekend – I hope)

So as many of you already know I just started at Wild Brain on monday and it’s been a blast!

My supervisor Jin Kwon is one talented dude and I’m just absorbing/learning at a whole new level. It’s so nice to have a mentor to ask questions from. Hopefully I’ll be able to recipocate as well. The animators are a bit crude (no offense guys.. ) but they’re invaluable as they keep the atmosphere light and are more than willing to provide you with more than a days worth of entertainment.

The family is small and everyone seems to already know who I am – which is nice. Hopefully I’ll be able to stick around awhile as I’m already warming up to the place.
