First week wrap-up · 2056 days ago

It’s good to be back on campus after the winter break. I would probally think myself crazy but the long breaks are just too long – I get bored with the sudden stop to my pace of life.

My classes get worse and worse each quarter, or well at least the time they start, this quarter:

Mon 8-12am – TA Char Rigging
Mon 6-10pm – Production

Tue 8-12am – Adv. 2D Anim.
Tue 6-10pm – Ethics

(I’m dead tired at this point.. mmm splits)

Wed 6-10pm Senior Pro 1b (I’ll explain in a sec)

Thu 1-5pm – TA Char Rigging 2

Fri 1-5pm – Adv. Char Setup

Sat 10-2pm – Senior Project 1a

Yes, that’s 6 days a week.. good thing I got that muni pass.
I’ve got Senior Project twice a week this quarter as I’m on two projects in it at once (I know I know.. suicide.) So I meet with one group wed’s and the other sat. We’ll see how long my body lasts, or if my mind goes first.

New Years, a look back · 2075 days ago

Out with the old, in with the new.

And so 2004 came and went, but not without it’s moments. Some that were memorable to me include:

  • Bush’s defeat. Oh wait that didn’t happen
  • Asian Tsunami – natures devestating abilities
  • The Incredibles – CG too good for itself
  • HQv3 launch party – we’ll dinner.
  • 6wks without internet – we survived.

May 2005 hold bigger and better things like: A girlfriend, a job, a salary with that job and continued health for myself and those around me.

My resolutions this year: To try and be more humble, To update my website more often, To push myself – rather than just sit by, To release more tools for the community (autorig and light editor to come first), and to move on and enjoy the last few months of college.

As for christmas, thanks for all the gifts. I’m not sure what I’ll do with the money – put it will be put to good use as will the memory.
